Filmmaking

I followed 4 anti-trafficking Christian ministries learning from those that are fighting to end human sex trafficking in SouthEast Asia.

The New Abolitionists has been more than a passion project for me over these last 3 and a half years. In truth, it has become one of my greatest teachers. The desire to be one of the many voices rising up to end human sex trafficking naturally evolved into a fundamental search for the root causes to questions I've had to wrestled with.

What prejudices, misconceptions, fears have lead to the trafficking of young women and children? What falsehoods have corrupted our most sacred relationships and our core beliefs? What must we all re-see and re-examine? As executive producer and director of The New Abolitionists, I've been forced to redefine and refine my eye, my core beliefs, my understanding of truth and my abilities as a filmmaker to tackle this subject matter with the utmost integrity.

Presently, we are in the Fine Cut or final stretch.  And, I'd like to express my gratitude to all those who have poured into the completion of the project.

Please watch our sizzle reel and take a listen to my interview with Laura Spaeth on B Box Radio. All of us need more education to be properly activated in this fight against this destructive side of our humanity.

I say from my own personal experience, as hard as it is to face these  truths; on the other side of that confrontation, there is great freedom, clarity and purpose.
